Black Market

Profit above all.

There have always been those who have known how to take advantage of a bad situation – those who use their wits, influence, and will in order to come out on top, by any means necessary. The world hasn’t changed much – even in the post-apocalypse. There are still people who are in the illicit business of organized crime. Made up of smugglers, drug lords, and traders in advanced weaponry, the denizens of the black market are individuals who have decided that profit is more important than morality.

Within Gunstock, those who are involved in the Black Market will be told where secret meetings are, will receive Black Market-specific jobs, and will come into conflict with other shady organizations. Keep in mind that engaging with Black Market at this event means you will be engaging in character-versus-character conflict (CvC). In this case, this means your character may be killed due to the actions that they take. We ask that all players know their limits, and disengage if needed. However, this is not a way to avoid repercussions for actions that your character takes. Black Market may come into conflict with various members of town, as well as shadowy assassin organizations that may or may not exist.

Gunstock requires that those who are involved in the Black Market be subtle about their dealings. Those who are too obvious won’t just receive repercussions from local law, but also may be “reprimanded” by others within the Black Market.

More information about the Black Market will be outlined when Illicit Business, the new Black Market book, is released closer to the event.
