Factions in the Post-Apocalypse
Within Gunstock, you can find several groups and factions, all with their own aims and goals. Allying with the right group could mean fortune, while throwing your lot in with the losing side could mean your demise.
However, each of these factions have a lot to offer. Papaya Firearms and Angry Anchor are both packing heat with some new guns they hope to test, and the Blacktide Hunters aim to get as many bounties as possible on the Frontline Field. The locals are trying to keep the peace, and there are other, shadier organizations with their own goals.

I only need one shot to get the job done.
Hailing from the Mass region’s dockyards, Angry Anchor focuses on crafting high-caliber weapons and sturdy, heavy-duty vehicles built to take a beating. Their shipyard culture influences their craftsmanship, aesthetics, and no-nonsense attitude. The competition with Papaya Firearms fuels their desire to dominate the Gunstock market. They’re firm believers that if a round is high caliber enough that you only have to shoot it once, then you don’t need to be fast to be effective. They’re all about heavy ammo.
Angry Anchor
Fast, furious, and fired-up.
Originating from the ruins of Old York, Papaya Firearms is all about speed, efficiency, and lightweight firepower. They specialize in crafting nimble weapons and stripped-down, high-velocity vehicles like frame-only motorcycles. Not only that, but they believe that if you reload fast and shoot enough bullets, you’re going to create a rain of fire that’ll eventually get rid of the problem. With a gritty urban aesthetic and post-apocalyptic street-smart flair, Papaya’s presence in The Downtown Drift brings a touch of rugged metropolitan hustle.

The Blacktide Hunters
Blood makes the grass grow.
The Blacktide Hunters are a network of nomadic mercenaries operating in the post-apocalypse, dedicated to protecting settlements by managing and neutralizing the wasteland’s largest threats. They focus on dangers that no single settlement or small group could handle alone: massive Raider caravans, kaiju-scale creatures capable of leveling towns, and other colossal threats. Their work is defined by coordination, mobility, and specialized expertise.
Now, they’re at Gunstock, ready to kick some ass and take some names. To read more about them, check out the latest faction book.
“The Locals”
Hometown pride with just a bit of hedonism
The locals of Gunstock are a tightly-knit, resourceful group who’ve seen it all. Led by the Vegasian governor Maxi and the rover bar owner Trigger, they balance hospitality with self-interest. They welcome travelers, knowing that each interaction can be an opportunity or a scam. Their loyalty is to their own, and their survival hinges on adaptability and street smarts.
But the locals aren’t about to be pushed around, either. Maxi leads a small policing force, ready to make sure that people do good by the town — and enjoy some entertainment along the way.

The Co-Op
From dirt to dinner and from dinner to dirt. We create plants from the leftovers.
The Co-op is maintained by a group of hardy farmers who embody the survivalist ethos. They’ve adapted old-world agricultural practices to the harsh realities of the post-apocalypse. Managing Yaz’s Farming Cooperative, these farmers not only make sure that the Soup Shack is well stocked with food, but also grow a bit on the side — for fun, of course.

The Underbelly of the Apocalypse
Within the dark corners of the apocalypse, there are certain societies that exist — groups that are best not known about, unless you’re ready to make the ultimate sacrifice.
